Dear Students and Parents:
My relocation to Richmond stems from a wonderful background and past here in
music. The exciting and inviting music community is a great place to nurture and
guide young talent of the future. I was fortunate as a musical youth to be
surrounded by many supportive teachers and friends. It is my goal to continue
that support by opening a private violin studio to help other students achieve what
is possible in music. I have taught thousands of private lessons and hundreds of
students through my private studio, at summer music festivals and through
coaching youth orchestras and chamber music.
Having received degrees from the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston
and the State University of New York's Purchase Conservatory, I am thrilled to be
back teaching in Richmond after spending years cultivating talent in Virginia as a
member of the Richmond Symphony and Virginia Symphony Orchestras.
