Make sure to purchase a real copy (not a photocopy) of the piece(s)
that you are working on, including a piano part if applicable, as soon as
possible. This will save time coping your notes and markings from the
copy to the original part. Plus, it is much less likely that you will lose the
bound-original part – those photocopy sheets can be like socks, always
disappearing!
Please remember to bring everything with you to each lesson. Don’t
forget your instrument (make sure the bow is in the case too!), notebook,
and especially the music. I can’t guarantee that I have a copy of the piece
that you are working on – it may be out on loan to someone else.
